PROPAGATION TECHNIQUES

INTRODUCTION

This week learn about plant propagation. Techniques we do like:

• Cutting Propagation: Creating new plants from cuttings of existing ones.

• Grafting: Joining a part of one plant (scion) to another (rootstock) to grow as a single plant.

5.30 a.m  Prayer farj at Surau At-Taqwa
6.20 a.m  Warm up 
7.20 a.m  Roll call at Agrotech. All parts sang Negaraku, UiTM Dihatiku and Planters Song. With 
                  read Doa ad-Dhuha, Doa Qunut Nazila and Al-Kahfi. 
8.15 a.m All class go to nursery
8.30 a.m After reach nursery, lecture gave briefing about stem cutting and budding.
stem cutting - Choosing a healthy stem, trimming it to the proper length, and creating a conditions that is suitable to rooting and growth are the usual stages.
budding- Budding is a form of asexual reproduction in plants, where a new organism develops from an outgrowth or bud on the parent.

9.00 a.m For crop we use Turnera ulmifolia for stem cutting

root hormone were applied to stem cutting

After that put stem into polybag
