WEEDING

PLACE : FIELD AGROTECH UITM JASIN

In week 8, our activity is weeding. We are just do normally routine like watering the plant, remove weed on our plant bed. This our method we use for remove weed:

1. Pulling weeds by hand
2. Using a hoe
3. Sheet mulching

reasons why need remove weed;

1. Weeds compete with your plants for water, nutrients, and sunlight
2. Weeds can harbor pests and diseases
3. Weeds can spread unwanted seeds

tools and materials:

1. Hoe
2. Glove
3. Axe
4. Hoe
5. Fronds
6. Weeds

At same week do planting stakes and fertilizers.

Challenge:

1. Limited fronds and weeds.

2. Limited wood for stake.
