FPA100 | LINING & SEED GERMINATION

Week 4

 Liming | Plants bed| Seed germination

This is my progress project FPA100.

First we do liming, function of liming is lime is a soil conditioner and controls the soil acidity by neutralising the effects of acids. Benefits of a liming is :

1. Increase in earthworm activity

2. Improvement in soil structure

 This our area to cover liming

challenge when we do this time very hot and dusty. Only 2 bags are used for cover that area. 

Second is plants bed, for plant we use need plants bed for crops. Before we do, our lecture give guide for this:

We need follow the structure plant bed for this project. After and we must mark with rope and mark stick before we proceed plant bed.

Function of mark plan bed for make boundaries between plant bed any plant bed. We must student have 1 plant bed. Second plants get direct sunlight.

Very challenges for this task because we need chasing time all come back home break week 5. We need prepare immediately. Second we lack equipment such as marking sticks and hammers. I hope next time increase quantity equipment. Last, on that day it was very hot, at that time we were also fasting.

Seed germination.

For the last task for this week we must germinate seed before put seed into plant bed. What we need to do put seed into seed tray and germinate seed and then we must seed we put into seed tray that seedling.

Function we do this because we dont crop that we plant shock direct plant into plant bed.  Sed tray this will be placed in a place that does not directly receive sunlight.

That 4 seed but one class need to choose 2 crop so our class chose long beans with salad.

We are provided 2 bags soil to put into seedling tray.

It's no harder to do this but what important we must seed germinated. After we back hope all seed geminated.
